Today was my first class session with my mentor. When I walked in, I noticed he had two Grammys! I was surprised since he had never mentioned them beforehand, and he seemed pretty chill about it when I asked him about it later. I would have taken a picture, but I decided to go into the studio since I noticed that my mentor was doing a session with some musicians at that very moment. It was very interesting seeing him work, I even learned a few things that will definitely come in handy later! One funny thing that happened towards the end of the session was that they brought out a little cowbell and started to record one of the musicians hittng it. A classmate came during the session as well, we got aquainted and talked a bit while the session was ending. Our mentor then turned to us and asked if we had any questions. I'm definitely learning a lot, even if it's just the first class session, and I'm excited to learn lots more!
