Chapter 6 is extremely essential due to the fact that the position of a microphone can greatly influence your work. Prior to Chapter 5 and understanding the distinguishing traits of each microphone, it is crucial to apprehend that the placement of a microphone will impact the final outcome of whatever you are recording. During my studio Session wit my mentor, Donny Baker, we experimented with more than 1 microphone and by placing them in different spots to examine the kinds of sounds they produce. I found this lesson to be immensely valuable for a music producer to comprehend yet enjoyable. With that being said, I am very excited to keep moving forward.
