My name is James Boucher and I am a Pop artist from Syracuse, New York that has relocated to Los Angeles, California for the Recording Connection! I am excited to be apart of such an amazing team and look forward to a successful career as a Music Producer. I love all kinds of music with some favorites being Pop, R&B, EDM, Hip Hop/Rap and Rock. I chose the Recording Connection due to it's high quality education and quite literally CONNECTIONS! History:

Up & Coming Artist/Music Producer James Boucher recently released his 6 track EP featuring upbeat Pop songs such as, Way Back When and Devil Mind. With a new sound and new beginning he released his new EP with the help from co-writers/producers Jan Linder-Koda (Grammy Nominated Singer-Songwriter, Celebrity David Hasselhoff, many more...) and Matt Moss (NBC's The Voice, National Geographic's America's Got Talent, A&E's Duck Dynasty, CBS's Big Bang Theory, TRUTV's Impractical Jokers, many more...) He continues to write and study with the Recording Connection's music production program working with Larry Goetz (Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, Weezer, All Time Low, Breathe Carolina, Forever The Sickest Kids, and many more...) owner of The Lair Recording Studio and is currently located in Los Angeles, California.

James Boucher is a Positive Upbeat Pop artist from Syracuse, NY. Rhythmic instrumental production with Pop style hooks. Electrifying and bright energetic tracks with meaning. Formally owner, frontman and writer of local Pop Rock band Give Us Jersey, also from Syracuse, began his journey at the age of 15. Through Boucher's rock career as a young artist, he performed shows with many national artists. Forever the Sickest Kids (Fearless Records), Breathe Carolina (Fearless Records), Tonight Alive (Sony Music Australia, Fearless Records, and Search and Destroy Records), We Are The In Crowd (Hopeless Records), Before Their Eyes (inVouge Records, Rise Records), and more. Shortly after two 6 track E.P.'s Just A Memory (2012) and Oceans Apart (2010). He then attended and graduated from SUNY Onondaga College with an Associates degree in Television, Radio, and Audio Production, specializing in Directing, Producing, and Audio Engineering while continuing his music endeavors by developing a stronger education of the music industry and building connections.

Since ending his Pop Rock career with his previous band Give Us Jersey he has stayed relevant with Pop music as a solo artist. He continues to write as a Singer-Songwriter for the Pop genre. He has mentored with Grammy Nominated Songwriter and Producer Jan Linder-Koda owner of Angel Diva Studios out of Woodland Hills, California. His latest demo release A Little Crazy was recorded by Boucher and produced from Linder-Koda's friend and colleague Marty Rifkin. Marty Rifkin is an Engineer, Producer and Instrumentalist who has a long list of performance and producing credits along with some of music's greatest artists, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Tom Petty and more. Jan introduced James to the Worlds Leading Independent A&R Company Taxi, where James was given many opportunities to present his music to industry professionals of high caliber. Taxi's annual Road Rally in Los Angeles, California was Boucher's first chance to perform three nights in a row at the convention as an artist. During his last return to Syracuse, Boucher's old demo Fit For Love was selected by local radio personality Tee to air on his show Live From The Box, 87.7FM WVOA.
