Jeriel Pablo — Los Angeles Recording Connection
Music has always been a passion of mine growing up from when I first took drum lessons in the fifth grade and found out I can actually keep a solid rythym. I have always been around it with my mom having prior experience playing guitar and both my older sisters being a guitarist/drummer and a vocalist.
Over the years I've taught myself how to play guitar, bass, some piano, and even a bit of singing. I've played in a few different types of bands and some solo projects ranging from ska, punk, indie, experimental, to electronic. But it's not where my music interests end.
Like most people I like to listen to a lot of different genres of music and I think thats what drove me to get into music production and recording. It was something I've never really stepped into until a couple years ago, so I started using DAW's like ableton or maschine to produce my own "beats" to make music from deep house, future bass, hip-hop, trap, 2-step ,and pretty much whatever I can figure out how to do on my own from youtube tutorials.
I feel like there was a point where there was only so much I can teach myself without any real guidance with the things I had at home to really make my dreams become a reality. Which is how I luckily found myself here with the recording connection. I have just begun the process but from what I've seen and heard so far, I think this is exactly where I should be for my pathway on becoming a real professional in the music industry.
