Today was my very first day at TheAbstract Studios! I got to meet most of the awesome people who run the studio: Jesse, Mark, Andrew and Alex. I had my lesson with Andrew, during which he gave me a basic intro to Pro Tools. I am quite familiar with Logic Pro so it wasn't a completely new concept to me, but the interface is quite different so it will definitely take some time to get comfortable with the program. Afterwards, I observed Mark for about an hour as he worked on a track in Ableton, tweaking beats and adding a bassline. Honestly I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed today, but I'm really excited to dive into this program and learn as much as I possibly can. This looks like fun!
