This week I learned about automation and how there are 5 different ways to do it. I was confused on which one I should use if I was trying to do it myself. When I went in to the studio I asked my mentor which one was best for me to use and he explained which one I should use and why. This week in the studio I got to see a lady who is tryng to get her name out there and my mentor is producing everything for her. I got to see them make everything from scratch. It ws cool seeing a piano player come in and just adding what he thinks sounds good and seeing if the artist likes it. It was a good experience to see how a song is made from start to finish and how the producer and artist have to work together and try to agree on somehing. And the player who gets hired has to definitely be really talented to be able to come up with something on the spot.
