My first day with my mentor, Donny Baker was great. We did a walkthrough tour of the studio so that I would get acquainted with it. Donny and I went through all the different recording and control rooms. The consoles and gear that I saw were beautiful. I also met two other engineers of the studio as well, Chris and Andrew. We spoke and began getting to one another. After I had gotten acquainted with Chris and Andrew, Donny and I went over my first lesson. He tested my hearing with different sine wave frequencies to see where my hearing would drop. He tested me with up to 20000Hz. I had a great first night at Donny's studio. It was so much fun! And it's only the beginning of a great experience for me.
