Today was a fun day at the studio. Patrick and I brushed up on how all the snakes and wall connections in the room. But most of our time was spent looking at mics. We pulled out every mic and Patrick told me what it was and how it's used. For example, one mic would be used as a kick or a bass mic because it's mainly picks up lows and mid lows, and for a guitar or vocals, you would use a different mic that picks up a lot of mid range and some highs.
