Today was probably my most enjoyable day at the studio so far. Patrick had me go get two mics and mic up a cabinet so he could play and record piano through it. After micing up the cabinet, I used patch cables to go through the mixer, compressor, and into Pro Tools. After making sure I was gettting signal, Patrick played while I recorded and set the levels from inside the sound booth. After recording and setting levels, Patrick started showing me many possibilities of Pro Tools editing. Such as compressors or reverbs, etc.
