     Spinning off the chapter about microphones chapter 6 microphone placement was an excellent follow up chapter. Even the most expensive microphones wont record up to standards if placed wrong. Some mics go overhead instruments while some should be place one to three feet in front of a vocalist. There are many ways to approach this but trial and error is inevitable.
