Well well things got real interesting at Atmosphere Recording this week when I brought in one of my own instrumentals at the request of my mentor Jeremy Sanders. It was intresting to see that Jeremy and I have the same tast when it comes to mixing. I watch carefully as Jeremy moved the faders to find that perfect balance in the mix. I especially paid close attention to how he tweaked the sub bass and the kick drum giving the sub that controlled rumble and the kick drum that solid punch. We also disscussed track orginization and quantity as he explained that the less tracks you have to work with the less confused you'll be in a multi track session. I'm really enjoying this opportunity at Atmosphere Recording thanks to the Recording Connection. I see great things happening for me in the future.
