It'd been a long time since my concentration had been focused on my education. I was working in a restaurant for awhile, then started in retail. But one thing remained a constant while I lived from day to day, I wasn't happy. I started to think of ways to make a living for myself while that thing makes me happy. So many things ran through my head as possibilities. Music was the key. I had put music down for awhile. Being on stage made me uncomfortable. I belonged backstage. But after making that connection, I knew I wanted to put soul and thought back into the waves of the world forever. I'm anticipating a journey. A journey will be hard, but the reward is so much greater. And so I began my heavy chore of reading. Unit one- There was a lot of reading. I used to be a great reader, I loved it. I leaped in completely unprepared. A lot of it I'll have to revisit at a later date. It gave me great ideas as to what stars I should be shooting for. For now, mainly I was interested in the experience. Find out how Ric and I clicked, get to know eachother. See how his teaching style was. He told me a few great stories. I would definitely categorize him as a successful engineer. And isn't that the goal? I'm eager to learn, even if it will take me a while to get back into the swing of it.
