Hello welcome to chapter 10 pro tools basics, this chapter was challenging for two reasons. One, all of the tutorials are done on pro tools 10 and i am working on pro tools 12.Second doug the guy on the tutorial is working on an MAC and I own a PC. He tries to remember to include the pc shortcuts but half the time hes going to quick and forgets. Well anyway there was a sinewave project this month which was very hard having little to no understanding of how pro tools works but i got through it all by trial and error. My time in the studio this week was fun me and my mentor Joey Heier had two guys in working on laying a vocal track over a electronic beat they already had. This was my third time working in the studio on a vocal track and feel confident i could import some music and record a vocal track on my own at this point without the help of my mentor. Next stop is the midterm i am confident ill do fine the first half of this program was pretty easy for me and am looking forward to some more challenging material in the future.
