Ok guys chapter 16 MIDI was very frustrating to start because i started it on the weekend so i couldn't call the school for help till Monday. The book tells you to download and install a virtual keyboard called "chirp" Well chirp does not work on pro tools 12 so i spent the whole weekend trying to download and install this program that was never going to work Anyways the recording connection needs too update there textbook because this sucked. Now after seeing my mentor Joey heier i realized getting a cheap USB keyboard is worlds better for enjoying the MIDI application we played an Eric Clapton song on his keyboard and could change it to any sound imaginable the strings sounded unbelievable. He also showed me how it can write the music your playing for you even though neither of us can read sheet music very cool.
