I have not posted a new blog in months but I am back on track now. We reviewed signal flow and the steps required (sound source, mic, preamp, compressor, a/d convertor). Mark also broke down the three steps of engineering (tracking, mixing and mastering) and explained the specifics of each. I am happy that Mark constantly reviews the most important concepts of engineering as I’m also learning about music production. A lot of information to take in, but as it is repeated, I take in more of it.
