My mentor and I went over chapter 3. He recently had a new born so I wasn't in the studio for about two weeks. Chapter 3 we focused on analog to digital converters. Which receives the discrete voltages from the sample and hold circuit assign a numerical value to each amplitude. this is known as quantizations. Digital to analog converters. converts each number to a voltage and feeds those voltage to a an amplifier to increase the amplitude of the voltage. The audio is being generated by electronic circuits. This process is happening when you have a microphone, mixer, amp, and a stereo speaker.
