As we talked about Lesson 13, i realized the issues i had had with all my mixes. I realized that the lack of knowledge i had in terms of compression, eq'ing and all the other signal processing tools has taken away from the creative vision of each project. Things are starting to make sense and the pieces are starting to fall into place on what i need to do with my mixes. I stil need to practice, im no where near where i want to be and i still need to get better at both the creative side of music and the technical side. But i have to be patient and put the work in and in due time everything will mesh well together.
