Today we went over the different kinds of digital reverbs. I a chance to bring in a project i was working on and we applied different reverbs(i.e. hall, chamber) to vocals and drums so that i can acually hear what the sound like on fantastic speakers! The practicals are very helpful in the lessons because i am not a read a book and get it kind of guy. I learn better hands on, seeing and touching knobs, hearing what the do instead of being told what something does. I also been practicing my eq'ing. I just set up my pro tools sessions every monday with the school and now i have additional help with the things i still need help with (eq'ing, compression). I sometimes feel that there aren't enough hours in the day,but when u have so much fun, time passes super fast. They say that you should enjoy the process because it the process that makes the end result much more enjoyable! Until next week!
