Hey guys,

it's rvdbts again. right now I'm busy with chapter 8 which means I'm done with chapter 7. I had some difficulties with chapter 7 because I think some things of the topic were just repetition and some things were missing. For example in the little section review to place the instruments in the plot map. I really liked the section review but I couldn't finish it the way i wanted because the guitar and bass amps (if you want to use them) were missing! I wanted to place the amps in two different booths to avoid bleeding with the drums in the biggest recording booth!

I had two very great sessions this week! The first one was a mic setup session with an other student. It wasn't my first mic setup session but this time was the first time i really had to do everything, like setting up the mic-boom-stand, plug everything into the right connections or setting up the headphones. Last time I just had to clip the mic to the stand and plug the cable to the mic.

The second session was not for a recording. 3 other Students and me had to clean up the studio for the record release party of the rapper "Priceless". We were able to stay during the party from 7 to 10. Our job was basicly to check if everything is all right, if nothings broken and to welcome the guests to the party. I really had a good time. 

I finally got ProTools and Im about to learn the basics of it right now! I hope it's not a big difference to logic pro 9! But i think i'll still use both programms for my music! All right enough talking/writing
