Major: Audio Engineering/ Music Production

I\'m a music producer from Walnut Creek, California. I have played musical instruments my whole life, piano being the longest and strongest instrument, along with the clarinet and a little guitar. I geared away from the music scene after highschool and attended Santa Barbara City College in hopes of pursuiting a degree in Psychology. I picked up on music producing while I was there, and eventually started a DJ duo with my bestfriend/ roommate. I produced off of Fruity Loops Studio for about a year, just sort of composing random house melodies and practicing the software. After I felt capable enough, I started using Ableton this January and picked up on producing Trap (EDM) and hip hop beats. I\'ve released a few tracks via Ableton and ever since then, our DJ career has taken off fairly nice. We\'ve opened for The Chainsmokers, Mako, and just played our first music festival in Tahoe this August. The festival was called Basscamp. After our first gigs, I realized that I can\'t see myself doing anything else with my life. Music is my passion, and whether my fate be playing at music festivals, making beats for other artists, or even working for commercial uses, I will do anything and everything to be the best at what I do in the music industry.
