Today I learned the different chords used in recording studios. Also, I learned the difference between a balanced and unbalanced 1/4 chord. Balanced cables have 3 conductors, left, right and audio ground. An unbalanced 1/4 chord is mono. I never knew this and realized how if you pull a headphone jack halfway out, it may only play audio in one ear. I found this lesson interesting
