In this chapter I learned about analog vs. digital. Modern analog recording is a method of recording where signals are stored as continual wave in or on the media, usually magnetic tape. In digital recording, sound signals are converted and stored as binary data. Also, i learned about compression which reduces dynamic range. Furthermore, I learned a few other tools such as expander, threshold and limiting
