Sound is the vibration of an object or air molecules causing a sound wave to be created traveling to someone’s ear. That would be the best way to sum up sound without getting too scientific. Sounds all around us we hear it everywhere you really can’t escape it. Now there are different types of sounds but why over complicate things that don’t have to be? In music sound can most certainly be manipulated through vocal effects such as delay or reverb. However that’s deeper into pro tools.
