I've finished the first chapter of the Basic Audio Engineering ebook.  It was full of interesting and useful information, but to be honest I knew a good bit about that stuff already; not just from physics classes in high school, but I also learned about ADSR envelopes when learning to program synthesizers, and that complex waveforms are made of multiple simple waveforms-I mean, how could they not be?  It just seems like common sense to me.

Still, you know what they say: crawl before walking, walk before running...
