Before I begin, I first was to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone.

I know what you're all thinking right now. I'm aware it's been a while since I've blogged but a lot has been going on at the studio and with life itself. In all honesty, I've still been learning the same stuff I was learning last blog but I find that ok. If there's one thing I've learned was repetition leads to perfection.

Anyways, Chapter 2 was a very difficult chapter for me to understand for a while because science and electricity are topics that I struggled with during high school but I was able to understand everything after I read the chapter a couple hundred times!

I attempted to ask my mentor, Doug, to see if he could possibly help me with why learning about how electricity works would help me in the studio. His response was by showing me how all the wiring works in the studion by how cables channel sound into Pro Tools 12. It took about an hour to fully understand it all but it was something very helpful to know why learning about how electricity works is important. 

Other than that, everything else has been the same so far. I have got to work Pro Tools 12 a couple times to record a couple people, but I'm looking forward to learning Doug's process on adding audi effects before and after he records. I know it's gonna be a lot to learn and a lot of hard work but it really isn't work if you love what you are doing.
