Lesson 13 Posted on 2014-04-09 by Tyler McGuire

Lessin 13 was truly an awesome lesson. First off we went over the lesson which was about equilization, which is a huge part of the mixing process. After the lesson we spent the day recording snare drum samples for  client that was building a drum machine plug-in. It was one of my favorite sessions because I am a drummer and I really enjoyed seeing all of the different snare drums that stan had his friend bring in. We recorded the drums in series of four hits with 10 seconds between each hit and did that at four different velocities. There was probably about somewhere between $5000 and $10000 worth of snare drums at the studio.
