Today I covered the basics of electronics before leaving for a local open mic night at Carytown Coffee. Most of today was review plus it was a short lesson so I breezed through it quickly.
As my friend and I pulled up, we noticed that we didn't really know many people there. When we got there he signed us up for the second slot in case he had to leave early. After we played our renditions of 'Cigarette Daydreams' by Cage the Elephant and 'Ziggy Stardust', we started talking around. More people showed up, including some of our friends, My friend had to leave, but by then I was in a social mood. So I talked with some of the other musicians at the show. I got all their phone numbers so we could collaborate next week. If a new local band forms, that would be spectacular.
