Connectivity!!  So incredible to learn about wires and cables that were already all around my existence!  Sebastian went over the entire signal flow with me and this leasson came right after I had helped him set up for a live session with a rock band so this was all making sense now.  We used a lot of XLR cables to hook up mic's and pre amps.  He explained to me about balanced and unbalanced connections and when something is not grounded or "hot" a blowout can happen.  It's been really unique and interesting experince to be given such thorough and detailed explanations of literally everything that goes into sound production; I'm loving it!
