This lesson was on tracking and my meeting with Sebastian was perfect as he had a 4 man band coming in and he had me help him set up from start to finish.  We started off by making a list of all instruments and then assigning mics and pre-amps to each one.  There was a drummer, bass, guitar/vocals and keyboard to be exact.  Sebastian had e set up each mic using XLR cales and then I checked off the list after completion.  He then let me set up all the input and output connections in the control room which was really cool since I was then able to test out my knowledge and how comfortable I feel doing these things, and I felt really good afterwards!  I then stayed in for the live recording to watch the action in Pro Tools.  I'm looking forward to learning how to use the system and become a pro :-)
