On Monday Februrary 9th I had my first lesson with Kevin Mcarthy.  The class went pretty well, since it was a slow day for him at the studio we worked recording his own tracks.  He gave me a small introduction to all the gear and hardware he uses and explained a little to me about what each piece of equipment does.  The lesson on the book was pretty interesting as well.  I learned how sound is made, through vibrations of objects that vibrate the air arond them.  I also learned what amplitute and frequency were and also the 4 types of perfect waves; sine, triangle, square and saw waves.  

Kevin is a really good teacher and with him I hope to learn a lot and be able to start working with my own stuff after the course is over.
