James Renk — Salt Lake City Recording Connection

  I am a South Florida vagabond that lives in Utah after meeting my beatiful wife, Sarah, here in 2009. I am a former Ophthalmic Technician that specialized in diagnostic testing for ocular pathologies, that was always playing music on the side. I ran farily successful Open Mic in Florida that first allowed me to realize my love of engineering, not just writing and performing. 

  After moving to Utah I became a Christian and was soon a worship leader for a local college ministry. Shortly after, became the Audio Engineer and worship leader for Refuge Church in Riverdale, Utah. 

  Though being a Christian, I am more than a gospel artist or engineer. All music has a place as art and I intend to use my knowledge from Recording Connection to establish a viable career in engineering that expands my abilities and supports my family.

  I'm not the best at this type of "About Me" so, I'll keep it short. But, I'm always open about any questions that come my way!
