I thought I'd never be able to understand how a microphone works or even less how to make it, but now that I read the whole chapter and spoke to my mentor and teacher, I finally understand. Now in case of an imergency I can make a microphone out of scratch in a life or death situation. This chapter has open yet another door in my mind to a wider spetrum of understanding that I feel confident that I know how to identify what mics are ideal for my projects and which ones aren't. I love it.
