This week the readings covered all things Midi. From the history to how we use midi in daw's today, the lesson was very informative. This week I was assigned a project to use midi in pro tools to create a 30 second clip. I have been using Ableton for while now to produce some tracks so this assignment was a piece of cake. In the studio this week we had a session with One I Red, an awesome local rock band here in San Diego. They had previously recorded drums and bass for a few tracks in another studio, but the recording was not of good quality. So we rerecorded drums and bass for 4 tracks. A very good week looking forward to next week.
