Jason Abranches — San Francisco Recording Connection
Raised in the San Francisco bay area by a family of rock n roll fanatics, music has always been a part of my life. As a 12 year old kid I was constantly going to different bars, parties, and venues where my uncle's band would play, loving life traveling with my very close group of family and friends. John Baker, the guitarist for Lotus Rush, was the first to put a guitar in my hand and show me some simple riffs, enough to create a spark. As my passion for music grew, so did their careers as they left for Texas and LA to follow their dreams in music. Later down the road I found inspiration through my brother. He and some buddies from Sacramento put together a band called As the City Sets Fire and recently recorded their first album.
In late 2014, I left my job working on an ambulance as an EMT to dedicate 100% of my energy into following my true passions in music. Currently I play guitar, drums, some keyboard, and have been striving to become a decent vocalist....but for some that takes longer than others. My passions for working in a studio as an audio engineer are driven by the endless opprotunities to make beautiful music with amazing people. Along with growing as a musician I want to help other musicians be the best they can be and use my skills in recording to help them reach their full potential. For those who have made music their life, I want to feed their fire in creating something thats never been heard before, and ultimatly be a part of my generations revolution of music. The way I see it, when you're blessed with opprotunity you take it. Now its time to make it happen.
