Chapter 19 Blog Posted on 2017-05-17 by Crystal Bullis

Chaper 19 was all about mastering which in the final step before duplication of a record. This is the final touches to make the song or album spot on and sound like the other songs on the album (relative loudness). This is also the step where the PQ code comes into play for CD's this is where you label all the songs and give the start and end times.

This is my last chapter before my final and I can say I have learn SO much! Going into this not knowing much and doing the basic course I learned alot and got an amazing head start on becoming an engineer - I do believe I'll need more schooling. Also, being a fan of rap/pop I learned to really love and appreciate rock music and people who have such talents with instruments. I really want to learn an instument I think that would help me be a better engineer. I still have my final and a couple of assignmetns to catch up on then I'm all finished. The program went very fast and I would recommend it to someone who wants a hands on experience and schooling to be an audio engineer.
