My second studio session was really interesting, I had been already briefed by my mentor about what was going to be happening at the studio. Actually, a band named ''Cloud Persons'' was doing a promotional video and they will be recording and tracking some instruments at thesame time. My mentor and I, the studio manager and the assistant engineer help set up the production room. It was set up like a Live gig and 21 mics was used to track all the different instruments. There was going to be an audience present so I help tape signs at the entrance door and also help in the decoration of the studio. When the show was about to start, my mentor and I sat at the control room and he ask the assistant engineer to conduct a mic check while he adjusted levels. The band staarted playing at 8:15 and my mentor wanted to pay attention on how he is tracking the instruments and adjusting the levels. He ask me to take notes of the different instruments used and the different songs played. Tracking went for about 1hr:30 mins and it was over by 9:45pm. After that, I help my mentor and the assistant engineer take down the mics an put them back in their drawers. At 10:05pm I said by to everyone and Ieft.
