On Monday, we spent quite a bit of time going over stuff that I still wasn't sure about, and so I got a lot of my questions answered. We worked with parallel compression, which is now my favorite thing to use, and I was also able to grasp how buses and sends work. For some reason it had just never clicked in my brain before now lol. On Wednesday, we worked on a mix for an artist, and spent a lot of time getting the perfect drum sound by using different placements and mics. We got pretty beast sounds! I'm going back on Saturday to track drums for a Texas country artist and I'm looking forward to that:)
