It was realy nice learning about the different microphones and how they work diffently! I went and bought the AKG D112 and now using it for the kick drum on the drum set. Before that I was using a small condesor microphone and as soon as I recorded a drum track with the AKG I could really hear the difference in the low end. It was a much more rounded sound and sounded more solid.
