Lesson 16/ Belle and the Band Mixing

Tonight Kris and I went over lesson 16 on MIDI. He showed me some of the sessions where he used MIDI, then we looked at my mix and Kris told me that he drums and background vocals was to soft. After the lesson was over Belle and the Band arrived for their mixing session. First, Kris fixed the mandolin and guitar from the mix before. Then, Kris patched the channels to the console. After everything was patched to the console, Kris added EQ to the vocals, and bass guitar, then added reverb to the vocals. Then, Kris edited the mandolin and guitar. Finally, Kris added compression and EQ to everything then bounced both songs down and everyone called it a night.
