Friday March 21st/2014- School start time 10:30am. Finished at 8pm.

Today we set up two DI boxes to connect a stereo keybord to record some layered synth parts for Adrian's album he's working on. Recorded three layers into three tracks for easier mixing later. Then we started creating drum parts to add to the synth parts. The track started out pretty rough but came together nicely by the end of the session.  Then for the rest of the afternoon/evening, we recorded some piano and vocal tracks for Pennan Brae's album. He brought in his tube vintage nord and we connected straight into a hardware compressor and then into protools. It sounded great! Once we recorded piano and vocals in, we sat and mixed some of it down. It was another long awesome day at Blue Light Studio... :)
