Let's just say this, without this lesson, installation of Pro Tools would have been a bit more vexing. This section also familiarises users with the Pro Tools interface and basic functions which you need just to get setup and started!

Some things we went over in the studio were: the practicality of the Delay Compensation Engine and when it was introduced, methods of importing audio, the Edit Modes, the extended Transport Bar, Pre/Post Roll, changes made to the Scrubber Tool over the years and the Mix Window.
