Lesson 6 was introduction to the console. To teach me about the console my mentor gave me a small console to hold and examine, he explained that a big mixing desk at a studio is the same principle but with more channel inserts, more EQ knobs, etc. He took his time explaining how it all works, and allowed me to compare it to Logic (which I'm fairly familiar with) so I could make sense of it all. Inserts (plug-ins), aux channels (bus's), and so forth. Now that I have completed lesson 6 I will be requesting my copy of Pro Tools.
