So on July 19th James Britton had his album release party at Smith Commons in NE DC. I arrived at 6:30 because I was just coming from work and they were still in the process of setting up because they moved from downstairs to upstairs. I helped the best way I could to try to speed along the process, Once it began the opening acts did a phenomenal job and they performed a lot of songs (probably one thing I would've changed were the number of songs the opening acts did only because when James finally came on I must admit I was a little tired and very hot (so many people)) but they all did very well. I had a blue eyed soul drinl which was delicious and sweet (I like sweet). I would say it was a big success and I definitely have to get James' album because I liked every song I heard. The party didn't wrap up until 1:30-2:00am.
