So I had a little something up my sleeve the last session I went to. As Jim and I wwent over the quiz, watching videos and further explaining some things in detail, I was waiting in anticipation to let him hear a song I'd been working on called "Shaboom!" I picked up some vocal tricks from a how to video off of youtube and though it sounded pretty dope, very stereo type vocals. Jim liked the song and gave me props on the sound quality. There was an issue with phasing on acertain part of the verse and we tried to fix but ultimately though I should just rerecord. Felt good to see and hear that I was moving in the right direction with this song but still comptemplating whether to lengthen it and add some things. real catchy song, not my most lyrical but a fun song to record and listen to. SHABOOM! Can't wait to implement these new techniques to future songs! Also I have been diving head first into the shortcuts for pro tools and even purchased a port hub so I can hook up my wireless mouse, this has made my workflow 100 times faster, fasho!
