Please accept this as my reference letter for Jessica Cook. I had the pleasure of working with her in Lethbridge, Alberta, at CJOC radio in 2008/09. I first met Jessica while training her as a producer with CJOC. She was responsible for producing such programs as live Lethbridge Hurricanes hockey broadcasts. I was impressed with how quickly she learned new skills and she was never intimidated by a challenge. In fact, she seemed to have a better understanding of the technical side of radio than most veteran broadcasters I’ve worked with.

Jessica is a quick study and has a love for all types of music ranging from oldies to hip hop to rock. She’s also one of the few female nightclub DJ’s I’ve encountered who has the natural ability to push a dance crowd into a frenzy. She connects well with her audience and knows what works on the dance floor. Jessica has an ear for music, a strong fashion sense, and a love for photography. All of these skills exude creativity and I feel she has the potential to reach great heights if given the opportunity. I’ve trained literally hundreds of broadcast professionals in my 20 + years in radio and I believe Jessica is committed to success and has that something special that can take her to the top.

I have known Jessica for approximately 6 years, and have gotten to know her very well in that time. I had the opportunity to have Jessica as an employee of mine at Esmeralda’s Tavern, and I was her direct supervisor for many years.

In my time with Jessica, I have learned that she is an invaluable member of any team. She constantly strives to achieve and then surpass any goals set. She is a tireless worker, dedicated to whatever job she is doing at the time, and always thinking about the next step. Jessica also works as a morale booster for the rest of the team if things aren’t going as well as planned. I have always noticed that Jessica is up for anything, and never complains about the work set before her.

Jessica is honest, kind, and has a great deal of integrity, and who cares about the people around her and makes sure she always strives to do the right thing in all situations. My husband and i had asked jess to dj our wedding this past July. She did the sound for our outdoor ceremony as well as dj for our dance! She did an amazing job and we couldnt have asked for anyone better! It was awesome being able to sit and chat about every little detail ! Jess was also awesome about keeping up with song requests from my crazy friends, putting up with so many changes we made as well as an amazing sound/music job for our wonderful ceremony.We couldnt have done it with out her. She was a huge part of our beautiful day and we thank her very much for all the great work she did ! Thanks Jess
