Brian GoldsteinStamford Recording Connection

My name is Brian Goldstein and I am about to start taking lessons in audio engineering and Factory Underround Stuidios in Norwalk, CT. I started writing raps when I was a sophomore in high school just for fun for my friends to hear. I would find instrumentals of the hottest songs out online and wrote to them. Once they started telling me that it was actually good i started to take it more seriously and realized that music is what i wanted to do for a living.

After I graduated high school, I didnt go to college because music was what I wanted to do but I had no idea how to even get started. After a whilie I decided to take a few classes to see if there was anything else I might want to do. I found the Recording Connection Audio Instiute online and thought that the way the school worked was to good to be true. When I looked into it more I realized the program would be perfect for me. I didn't take anymore classes after that because i knew this is what I wanted to do.

I never stepped foot in an actual studio until my first visit to Factory Underground. Seeing all the equipment in there just made me want to know how to work it all. I want to be able to walk into a studio and know what I'm doing and make complete record. Music is something that all people have in common because everyone can listen and respect a good song when they hear one. I want to be apart of making good music that people will enjoy and be inspired by.

I mainly listen to hip hop music but I also listen to some r&b and rock. I want to learn the art of audio engineering because I want to work with all types of music and expand my knowledge. It's a fact if tt is good quality music, people might like it but there are definitely people who will hate it. But if there are more people who like it than the people that don't then you're doing something. I'm excited for what I'm going to be learning and i'm really tired of talking about it so i want to get started
