Having completed Chapter 10, I am now about halfway through the course material. For the past few weeks, I have been learning hands-on how to navigate and operate ProTools. Now that I have my own home-studio setup, I've also been recording new music of my own in ProTools. I've slowly but surely been getting a feel for the software and how all of the plugins work; it's sort of like learning a new language and its alphabet. In my last meeting with Justin, he showed me several important methods of organizing ProTools sessions, based off of some potential scenarios that I will encounter with different clients. Since that meeting this past Monday, May 9th, I have been implementing many of these methods in order to optimize my work flow while working on my own recording sessions. I'm really excited to continue diving deeper and deeper into ProTools--it seems like the possibilites are endless! In addition to all of this, I am beginning to organize a video shoot for my next single with a filmmaker friend of mine. After the video is done, completing my EP is the next priority!
