In addition to contiously learning more and more about ProTools, I have been working on lots of new music simultaneously. Each week, I discover new things in ProTools and continue to improve in terms of learning/navigating the DAW. I recently made a few new purchases within the last two weeks as well. I decided to uprade my interface from a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 to a Scarlett 6i6. The reason for this is because I needed more inputs and outputs for the MIDI controller that I bought! I got an AKAI Pro MAX49, and have been toying around with it nonstop for about a week. There are SO many possibilites for composing all sorts of music with this MIDI controller and virtual instruments. I'm still learning how to operate it to its fullest potential, but I can't wait to get the hang of it and start making some music! In addition to all of this, I began planning a video shoot for the first single off of my unfinished EP with a film student friend of mine. We start shooting next week--I'm pumped!
