Finally got my pro tools installed and running the step on the chapter is definitely out of date. My Mentor and i went through the lesson and he explained everything to me. As we were going through the chapter I had  a list of questions to ask about pro tools. After we went through the chapter in the   the B room of the studio and i connected a mic thorugh the wall patch then with the patch bays i patched the mic thorugh a neve and into pro tools then turning the phantom power we got a signal. He showed me all the basics to pro tools and some advance stuff that i know ill get the hang of soon. Once we were done with going through pro tools 2 hours flew by and it was time to go.
