Back 2 Science Class! Chpt 2 Posted on 2018-07-05 by Jennifer Banks

Hello Fellow Classmates!

Let me start by answering the first question of the chapter. No. No, I have never stopped to think about what happened when you flip a light switch. I guess this means I have taken this for granted. Lol. Now a question for you. Did this lesson bring you back memories from science class in grade school? It did for me! So to the Atoms, Neutrons and Protons etc., I guess I did need you back then.

Going back in time definitely made this Chapter make sense to me. The breakdown of the difference between Analog & Digital Circuits are self explanatory after reading the chapter lol. To my understanding Analog Circuits carry a voltage that is either continuous or changing. With that being said Analog Circuits have two subcategories which are Series & Parallel. The example for Series is geared towards a string of lights. If one bulb is broke the other bulbs will not function. But with Parallel an equal amount of voltage goes to each individual bulb. Allowing one bulb to be broken and the others to continue to work.

Digital Circuits (better known to me as the Matrix) transmits information using the Binary System 0's &1's. With those values it tells you rather or not you have a positive voltage or no voltage. That seemed pretty simple! Those two topics in this chapter really stood out to me. I love how I was able to connect some education from grade school to my dream job. I think that's super dope! Can't wait to learn more!

Good Day Everyone!
